Okay, all you artsy fartsy people out there...

I've a proposal made to me to travel to Florida to do a large project. A non-profit organization wants to contract me to paint a 10' x 30' banner, something weather proof, that will last for a few years.

I've advised them that their best option to go through a large format, offset printer, so that a banner could be printed on vinyl and would last, but financially, that's not an option for them.

So, two questions:

1. What would be the best medium in which to do a project of this size, with these requirements?

2. I've figured that airbrushing may be the best option in which to paint, but depending on what kind of "canvas" I'm using, what would be the best type of paint to use?

I've suggested to them military grade canvas, they kind you would see tents made out of, so that's an avenue we're exporing. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
